Della Mae McIntire

Della Mae McIn­tire, 67, of Delaware passed away Thurs­day after­noon (March 17, 2011) at The Arbors of Delaware.

She was born Nov. 16, 1943 to Charles and Helen Fish Van Brim­mer. A life­long Delaware res­i­dent, she loved her fam­ily, and espe­cially her grand­daugh­ters. The fam­ily wishes to extend a spe­cial thank you to the staff at the Arbors, who took care of and loved her very much.

She is sur­vived by her daugh­ter and son-in-law, Reba and Jerry Yocum of Delaware; grand­daugh­ters, Ash­ley Ray and Alexan­dra Ray; broth­ers, Don­ald (Naoma) and Harold (Bev­erly) Van Brim­mer; a sis­ter, Susie (Bob) Coff­man; and many nieces and nephews.

She was pre­ceded in death by her hus­band, Dar­rell; and broth­ers, Eddie, Jay and Joe.

The fam­ily will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mon­day at the Rod­man Neeper Funeral Home, 1510 W. William St., Delaware, where funeral ser­vices will be held at the con­clu­sion of call­ing hours.
