Four Delaware man were indicted on felony charges this week accusing them of invading a Weiser Street home and burglarizing it while holding its occupants at gunpoint last week.
Benjamin Adams, 23, Cameron Coleman, 20, Dominick Tucker, 20 and Keaton Lenoir, Jr., 18 were each indicted on aggravated burglary, aggravated robbery, robbery and burglary charges on Friday, according to Delaware County Prosecutor Carol O’Brien.
All four were arrested on March 10 shortly after Delaware police were dispatched to the home on Weiser Street after a report of an armed burglary. When police arrived, residents there said that the men busted into their bedroom brandishing handguns, stole numerous articles including television and stereo equipment, cell phones, and a purse, and then fled the scene, according to O’Brien.
Delaware Police were able to apprehend the men at an apartment on Henry Street.
“Thanks to the fast actions of the officers, the men were captured not too long after the burglary occurred,” O’Brien said in a written news release. “Nearly all of the stolen articles were located inside the apartment and returned to the victims.”
Arraignment hearings for the four have yet to be scheduled.
