Steven Michael Davis

Steven Michael Davis, 34, of Mar­ion passed away unex­pect­edly early Thurs­day morn­ing (March 17, 2011) at his residence.

He was born April 16, 1976 in Marysville to Steven Davis and Patty Han­nawalt. He was a nurse for Ohio Health work­ing at the Select Spe­cialty Hos­pi­tal in Colum­bus. He enjoyed coin col­lect­ing, his fam­ily, work­ing out­doors and he was an avid Buck­eye foot­ball and bas­ket­ball fan. He also just recently had gone back to school at Mar­ion Tech­ni­cal Col­lege to fur­ther his education.

He is sur­vived by his wife of just a year, Krys­tal (Gar­rett); daugh­ter, Alli­son Davis of Mar­ion; step­son, Eric McIn­tyre of Mar­ion; mother, Patty (Bill) Mar­tin of Ostran­der; father, Steven (Peg) Davis of Gal­lipo­lis; two sis­ters, Cassie Davis of Hen­der­son, Ky., and Cheryl Mar­cum of Delaware; four broth­ers, David Cook of Marysville, Ed Cook of New Albany, and Michael and Joe Davis of Gal­lipo­lis; pater­nal grand­fa­ther, Don­ald Davis of Marysville; in-laws, Larry (Susan) Gar­rett and Donna Gar­rett of Delaware; and sev­eral aunts, uncles and cousins.

The fam­ily will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sat­ur­day, March 19, at the Rod­man Neeper Funeral Home, Delaware and where a cel­e­bra­tion of life ser­vice will fol­low at 4 p.m. with the Rev. Robb Mor­gan officiating.
