A. Marie Jarvis

A. Marie Jarvis, 78, of Delaware died Tues­day (May 17, 2011) in Grady Memo­r­ial Hospital.

She was born March 12, 1939 in Athens County to Elmer and Schrilda (Mumaw) Knott. She was a for­mer aid at the Hel-Ene Nurs­ing Home. She was mem­ber of Scioto Val­ley Chris­t­ian Union Church.

She is sur­vived by two daugh­ters, Judy Jarvis of Delaware and Linda (Gay­land) Mood­is­paugh of Mor­row County; a son, Paul (Deb­bie) of Marysville; a son-in-law, Michael Schirtzinger of Kil­bourne; and many grand and great-grandchildren.

She was pre­ceded in death by her hus­band, Cur­tis Sr.; a daugh­ter, Patri­cia Schirtzinger; and a son, Cur­tis Jr.

Vis­i­ta­tion will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Fri­day at The Robin­son Funeral Home. A grave­side ser­vice will be held at 11 a.m. Sat­ur­day in Green Mound Ceme­tery with the Rev. Jeff Deel of Marengo officiating.
