E. Grace Jones

E. Grace Jones, 99, of Delaware and for­merly of Bell­point died Sun­day (July 17, 2011) in Grady Memo­r­ial Hospital.

She was born Sept. 5, 1911 in Darke County to Joel and Clara (Knotts) Mills. A res­i­dent of Bell­point since 1927, she grad­u­ated from Bell­point High School in 1931. She was a home­maker who dearly loved her fam­ily and enjoyed trav­el­ing. She attended Bell­point United Methodist Church.

She is sur­vived by two sons, Bob (Barb) of Palm Har­bor, Fla., and Ron­nie (Josie) of Delaware; eight grand­chil­dren; 15 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a sis­ter, Opal Stair of Delaware.

She was pre­ceded in death by a son and daughter-in-law, Mar­vin and Dorothy; and her hus­band, Arnold who died Oct. 16, 1979. They were mar­ried April, 26, 1933.

Vis­i­ta­tion will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednes­day at the Robin­son Funeral Home where a funeral ser­vice will be held at 11 a.m. Thurs­day with the Rev. David Min­niear offi­ci­at­ing. Bur­ial will be in Oller Cemetery.
