Debra L. Agler Burgess, 53, of Mount Vernon, died unexpectedly Sunday (Aug. 7, 2011) from injuries from an automobile accident on U.S. 36W of Mount Vernon.

She was born on Sept. 28, 1957 in Columbus to Jack Agler and Patricia (Lambert) Agler. The homemaker moved to Mount Vernon in 2009 from Centerburg. She is survived by her beloved husband, Joe Burgess; three daughters and eight grandchildren, Anjol (Matt) Jacobs of Mount Vernon and their children, Luke, John and Trevor; Somer (Mike) Chattos of Sunbury and their children, Mariah and Gunnar, and Crystal (Rick) West of Heath and their children Chyenne, Seanna and Mason; mother, Patricia Agler of Delaware; brothers, Jack (Beth) Agler and Ronnie (Lori) Agler both of Bucyrus and Richard Agler of Mount Vernon; and sister, Terrie (Tom) Dickerson of Sunbury.
