   The debt ceil­ing vote should have been sep­a­rate from the seri­ous issue of national debt. Also, it should have been resolved months ago.
   What was passed is just a pyrrhic vic­tory for McConnell and his cronies.
   Don’t for­get which pres­i­dent crossed the tril­lion dol­lar level and added 2 tril­lion in debt–Remember the great con­ser­v­a­tive Reagan?

   I sup­port the deal because one had to be made. How­ever, we need more rev­enue and the top 2% should pay more taxes. I see no evi­dence that tax cuts have helped the econ­omy. The wealthy so called job cre­ators need to start spend­ing their money and cre­at­ing jobs instead of liv­ing in lux­ury. Trickle Down Voodoo Eco­nom­ics has not worked. Our coun­try con­tin­ues to move more toward a plu­toc­racy. The aver­age worker keeps get­ting poorer. Wel­come back to the 19th century.

   Need more cuts, seri­ous cuts , in bud­get! We must cur­tail spend­ing except on needed items. Stop sup­port­ing the N.E.A., other Union activ­i­ties that only suck the life blood out of our com­mu­nity.
   Make our schools polit­i­cal party neu­tral, tak­ing the extreme voice of lib­er­al­ism out of our pub­lic school sys­tem! Return Amer­ica to greatness!
