James M. Ewing

James M. Ewing, 61, of Shawnee Hills, died Sun­day (Aug. 14, 2011) at his home.

He was born May 22, 1950 in Colum­bus to Joseph and Mar­garet (Lowe) Ewing. He grad­u­ated from Buck­eye Val­ley High School and was a retired employee of Ranco Inc. A res­i­dent of Shawnee Hills for 41 years, he was a mem­ber of the Shawnee Hills Com­mu­nity Church.

He is sur­vived by a daugh­ter, Tina (David) Goins of Dublin; a son, Rob (Tessie) Welch of South Charleston; six grand­chil­dren; one great-grandson; his mother, Mar­garet Rose­berry of Rath­bone; a sis­ter, Mar­garet Wal­lace of Delaware; and three broth­ers, Gary of Delaware and Joe and David, both of Ostrander.

Vis­i­ta­tion will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tues­day at the Robin­son Funeral Home. A grave­side ser­vice and inter­ment will be at 1 p.m. Wednes­day in Fairview Ceme­tery, Ostran­der, with the Rev. George E. Mason, Sr. officiating.
