Charles R. Kitchen Sr.

Charles R. Kitchen, Sr., 72, of Delaware died Fri­day (Sept. 2, 2011) at River­side Hos­pi­tal in Columbus.

He was born Aug. 17, 1939 in Ade­line, KY to William and Eva (Adams) Kitchen. He served in the US Army. He worked for Ranco as an inspec­tor for 32 years until 2001.

He is sur­vived by his wife, Fran­cia; 3 daugh­ters, Lori, Yadira and Yeraldinne all of Delaware; 3 sons, Charles Jr., Brad and Cody Cra­mens all of Delaware; 9 grand­chil­dren; 2 sis­ters, Linda Har­mon and Lor­raine Perkins both of Ken­tucky; and a cousin, Patty Price of Delaware.

He was pre­ceeded in death by his son, John; brother, John “JL”; and his sis­ter, Faye Snider.

Vis­i­ta­tion will be 5 to 8 p.m. Tues­day at Robin­son Funeral Home where funeral ser­vice will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednes­day. Intern­ment will fol­low in Cheshire Ceme­tery where the Delaware County Vet­er­ans Asso­ci­a­tion will con­duct mil­i­tary honors.
