Faith Ann Caldwell

Faith Ann Cald­well, 72, of Delaware passed away Sun­day, Oct. 16, 2011 in the com­fort of her home sur­rounded by her fam­ily after a brief illness.

She was born Dec. 20, 1938 in Leonards­burg, to the late Angelo and Eve­lyn Jervis Mar­aldo. She attended St. Mary’s in Delaware and was a mem­ber of the Eagles Ladies Aux­il­iary. She had worked at Swopes, the Camp­bell House, Delaware Hotel, Just Fred­dies and Ranco, where she met, fell in love with and mar­ried her hus­band, Howard Cald­well. She retired from Advanced Auto. She enjoyed play­ing cards, read­ing, trav­el­ing and play­ing cards on her com­puter, how­ever her great­est inter­est was in her grand­chil­dren and great-grandchildren.

She is sur­vived by a son, John (Mary) Stu­art of Ostran­der; two daugh­ters, Deb­o­rah Hunt of Corbin, Ky and Kathy Payne of Chill­i­cothe, Ohio; a sis­ter, Donna (Bob) Gilt; a brother, John (Denise) Mar­aldo; 10 grand­chil­dren, Tiffany, Mor­gan, and Whit­ney Stu­art, Jor­dan, Ash­ton, Lin­coln, and Makiah Payne, Shawn Hunt, Anita White and Shirrah Painter; 11 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She is pre­ceded in death by her hus­band of 36 years, Howard; a brother, Roger Morth­land; a daugh­ter, Sharon Painter; and a great-granddaughter Ashton.

The fam­ily will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tues­day, Oct. 18th at the Rod­man Neeper Funeral Home in Delaware with a memo­r­ial ser­vice fol­low­ing at 7 p.m. After­wards, the fam­ily is invit­ing every­one back to Faith’s house for addi­tional fel­low­ship.
