Iran nuclear talks snag over dueling demands
Sara G. Baxter, 73, of Spring Hill, Fla., and formerly of Radnor went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Sept. 18, 2011.
She courageously battled congestive heart failure and diabetes for many years. She was born April 6, 1938 in Green Camp to Phillip and Mabel Swartz Daugherty. She was a graduate of Marion Pleasant High School, Class of 1956 and attended Ohio State University. A longtime member of Radnor Baptist Church, she was devoted to her family and her community, which she always took great pride in. She was also active in 4-H, Girl Scouts and the Radnor Mothers Club.
She is survived by two daughters, Kathy (Bob) Link of Tonganoxie, Kansas, and Susan (Gary) Jackson of Spring Hill, Fla.; a son, Michael Baxter of Radnor; six grandchildren, Rachel and Bethany Link, Christa Christian, Andrea Coffman and Jessica and Whitney Jackson; a sister, Phillis (Bill) Carey of New Bloomington; and a brother, David (Martha) Dougherty of Marion.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, David, whom she married on Dec. 22, 1956; and two sons, Paul and David.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 10, at the Rodman Neeper Funeral Home, 1510 W. William St., Delaware. Services will be held at 7 p.m. at the conclusion of calling hours. Her family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory be made to the Arthritis Foundation, 3740 Ridge Mill Drive, Hilliard, OH 43026.
