Mrs. Virginia Lucille Siders, 83, of Warrensburg passed away Tuesday (Oct. 18, 2011) at Grady Memorial Hospital.

She was born Nov. 30, 1927 in Hogsett, W.Va., to the late Walter and Ellen Stover. Married 59 years to her husband Roy Siders, Virginia was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. An excellent homemaker, her special gift of making the best pies in the world, made all who tasted them wanting more. She enjoyed traveling our country and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Barbara and (Stephen) Taynor of Ostrander; her grandchildren, Roy and (Laurie) Justice, Jeremy and (Jennifer) Taynor and Matthew and (Ruth) Taynor; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; brothers, Dale and (Roxanne) Stover of Gallipolis Ferry, W.Va., Delbert and (Sandi) Stover of Ostrander, Dean and (Linda) Stover of Marysville, Dorrance and (Evelyn) Stover of Gallipolis Ferry, W.Va., and Clarence and (Brenda) Stover of Gallipolis Ferry, W.Va.; sisters, Corinne (Andy) Anderson of Columbus, Ruth (Bob) O’Brien of Gallipolis Ferry, W.Va., and Juanita (Stewart) Coleman of Vinton.

She was preceded in death by her son, Donald Lewis Caldwell; her parents, Walter and Ellen Stover; and her brothers, Wetzel Stover, Junior Stover and Ralph Stover.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 21, at the Rodman Neeper Funeral Home, 1510 W. William St., Delaware. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, at the Bethany Baptist Church, 74 Wootring St., Delaware. A reception will be held at the Scioto Township Hall in Ostrander immediately following the interment at the Newhouse Cemetery.
