Virginia Lucille Siders

Mrs. Vir­ginia Lucille Siders, 83, of War­rens­burg passed away Tues­day (Oct. 18, 2011) at Grady Memo­r­ial Hospital.

She was born Nov. 30, 1927 in Hogsett, W.Va., to the late Wal­ter and Ellen Stover. Mar­ried 59 years to her hus­band Roy Siders, Vir­ginia was a lov­ing wife, mother and grand­mother. An excel­lent home­maker, her spe­cial gift of mak­ing the best pies in the world, made all who tasted them want­ing more. She enjoyed trav­el­ing our coun­try and spend­ing time with her family.

She is sur­vived by her daugh­ter, Bar­bara and (Stephen) Taynor of Ostran­der; her grand­chil­dren, Roy and (Lau­rie) Jus­tice, Jeremy and (Jen­nifer) Taynor and Matthew and (Ruth) Taynor; sev­eral great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; broth­ers, Dale and (Rox­anne) Stover of Gal­lipo­lis Ferry, W.Va., Del­bert and (Sandi) Stover of Ostran­der, Dean and (Linda) Stover of Marysville, Dor­rance and (Eve­lyn) Stover of Gal­lipo­lis Ferry, W.Va., and Clarence and (Brenda) Stover of Gal­lipo­lis Ferry, W.Va.; sis­ters, Corinne (Andy) Ander­son of Colum­bus, Ruth (Bob) O’Brien of Gal­lipo­lis Ferry, W.Va., and Juanita (Stew­art) Cole­man of Vinton.

She was pre­ceded in death by her son, Don­ald Lewis Cald­well; her par­ents, Wal­ter and Ellen Stover; and her broth­ers, Wet­zel Stover, Junior Stover and Ralph Stover.

The fam­ily will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Fri­day, Oct. 21, at the Rod­man Neeper Funeral Home, 1510 W. William St., Delaware. Funeral ser­vices will be held at 11 a.m. Sat­ur­day, Oct. 22, at the Bethany Bap­tist Church, 74 Wootring St., Delaware. A recep­tion will be held at the Scioto Town­ship Hall in Ostran­der imme­di­ately fol­low­ing the inter­ment at the New­house Cemetery.
