Ashley man pleads guilty to stabbing his wife
The Ashley man accused in the August stabbing of his wife entered a guilty plea. Shad Hostetter, 39, pleaded to one count of felonious assault, a second-degree felony. His sentencing date has been set for Jan. 17.

Main Street exceeds half-way mark of $10,000 Christmas fundraising goal
Faced with broken decorations and a $3,500 cut to their Christmas budget, Main Street Delaware is embracing the spirit of “Whoville” to celebrate the holidays. The fictional town was part of Dr. Seuss children’s story, “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” — the theme of Main Street’s fundraising campaign as advertised on Facebook.
