The num­ber of round­abouts in Delaware County will increase next year fol­low­ing an agree­ment to seek a con­trac­tor to build the county’s next one.

Ashley man pleads guilty to stabbing his wife

The Ash­ley man accused in the August stab­bing of his wife entered a guilty plea. Shad Hostet­ter, 39, pleaded to one count of felo­nious assault, a second-degree felony. His sen­tenc­ing date has been set for Jan. 17.

Main Street exceeds half-way mark of $10,000 Christmas fundraising goal

Faced with bro­ken dec­o­ra­tions and a $3,500 cut to their Christ­mas bud­get, Main Street Delaware is embrac­ing the spirit of “Whoville” to cel­e­brate the hol­i­days. The fic­tional town was part of Dr. Seuss children’s story, “How the Grinch Stole Christ­mas” — the theme of Main Street’s fundrais­ing cam­paign as adver­tised on Facebook.
