Roy H. Lover

Roy H. Lover, 74, of Card­ing­ton and for­merly of Delaware died Sun­day (Nov. 13, 2011) at his home.

He was born Sept. 3, 1937 in Can­ton to Howard and Olga (Ander­son) Lover. He grad­u­ated from Kent State Uni­ver­sity. Roy came to Delaware in 1968 where he resided until 1999 when he moved to Card­ing­ton. He was a for­mer research chemist for PPG and was a fine wood work­ing contractor.

He is sur­vived by his wife, Mar­cia; a daugh­ter, Kris­ten Lover of Grove City; two sons, Scott of Card­ing­ton and Michael (Con­nie) of Oak Ridge, N.C.; six grand­chil­dren, Hunter, Bar­rett, Lau­ren and Logan Lover and Gavin and Alexan­dria Thomas.

Vis­i­ta­tion will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Sat­ur­day at the Robin­son Funeral Home where a memo­r­ial ser­vice will fol­low at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Dave Matos officiating.
