C. Joy Cutnaw McLaughlin

C. Joy Cut­naw McLaugh­lin, 75, of Delaware, passed away Wednes­day (Dec. 28) at Grady Memo­r­ial Hospital.

She was born Jan. 1, 1936, in Colum­bus, to John and Lela (Holmes) Cut­naw. She was a res­i­dent of the Delaware area for more than 20 years. She enjoyed play­ing cards with fam­ily and was true to her Lutheran faith. She retired as a home health care aid.

She is sur­vived by her sis­ter, Car­ole McCord of Sun­bury; nephews, Craig and Rick McCord; a niece, Car­ole Ann; and many great-nieces and nephews.

The fam­ily will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednes­day, Jan. 4 at Kil­bourne United Methodist Church, where a cel­e­bra­tion of life ser­vice will start at 6:30 p.m. Pri­vate inter­ment will be in the fam­ily ceme­tery near Shelby at a later date. In lieu of flow­ers, con­tri­bu­tions may be made to the char­ity of the donor’s choice.
