Men's Soccer: 9 Bishops named to All-NCAC teams
Doris E. “Boots” Reed, 84, of Delaware, died Friday (Dec. 2, 2011) in Grady Memorial Hospital.
She was born Aug. 1, 1927 in Delaware to John and Mary (Breitmeier) Hepner Sr. She graduated from St. Mary High School in 1945 and was a lifetime resident of Delaware. She was a retired employee of Ekelberry Grocery and payroll officer for ODOT. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and St. Mary Guild.
She is survived by four daughters, Phyllis (George) Halloran of Chicago, Pamela (David) Sellers, Cathy (Ralph) Bennett and Marianne (Roger) Marsch all of Delaware; two sons, Stephen ( Karen) of Georgetown, Ky., and Robert of Delaware; 12 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Jones and Ruth Glaze, both of Delaware; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Hepner; a brother, John Jr.; and by her husband, Robert in 2000.
Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the Robinson Funeral Home where a prayer vigil will be held at 6 p.m.
A mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Mary Catholic Church with the Rev. James Black as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery.
