Edna May Freeman Ladd
Edna May Freeman Ladd, 78, of Delaware died peacefully in the presence of her daughters Monday (Dec. 5, 2011) in the Hillside Hospital, Pulaski, Tenn.
She was born Nov. 1, 1933, in Delaware to the late James (Art) and Marjorie (Rador) Freeman. She worked various jobs to support her family: Dennison, Boston Store, Ben Franklin, Ohio Wesleyan University and the Community Action Organization. She sacrificed much to be able to care for her aging parents and her children.
She is survived by her children, Vernon Ladd Jr. and Alice Morrison, Vickie Lewis and John, Deborah Hill and Jeff, Charles Ladd and Charlene Bowen, Robert Ladd and Laurie and Cheryl Ginn and Jerry. She will also be remembered by her 14 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; and brother, Jim Freeman.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Robinson Funeral home where a celebration of life service will follow at 2 p.m. with her son-in-law, Dr. John W. Lewis, officiating. Thank you for remembering her life. Burial will follow in Marlborough Cemetery.
