Glenville C. ‘Marc’ Marcum Jr.

Glenville C. “Marc” Mar­cum Jr., 49, of Ostran­der passed away Tues­day morn­ing (Dec. 6, 2011) at his residence.

He was born Dec. 2, 1962 in Mount Ver­non to Glenville Sr. and Loretta Tay­lor Mar­cum. A life­long Ostran­der area res­i­dent, he had been employed as a data proces­sor with Bridges to Inde­pen­dence. He loved watch­ing sports and was a real Buck­eye sup­porter. He also enjoyed fishing.

He is sur­vived by his mother, Loretta Mar­cum of Ostran­der; a son, Alex of Granville; broth­ers, Paul of Ostran­der, John (Kay) of Marengo, Ken­neth (Deb­bie) of Jack’s Creek, Tenn., and David (Linda) of Delaware; and sev­eral nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

He was pre­ceded in death by his father, Glenville, in 2009.

The fam­ily will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thurs­day, Dec. 8, at the Rod­man Neeper Funeral Home, 1510 W. William St., Delaware. Grave­side ser­vices will be held at 1 p.m. Fri­day at New­house Cemetery.
