Linda Ann (Lease) Scarbrough

Linda Ann (Lease) Scar­brough, 74, of Lewis Cen­ter passed away peace­fully Thurs­day morn­ing (Dec. 8, 2011) at her residence.

She was born Sept. 4, 1937 in Colum­bus to Jean and Dal­las Lease. Linda was a mem­ber of the Lib­erty Pres­by­ter­ian Church and was an avid gar­dener who loved to travel and spend time with all her family.

She is sur­vived by her hus­band, Tom Rees; sons, Jef­frey Rand “Randy” (Dayna) Scar­brough of Cen­ter­burg and Gary Scar­brough of Dublin; daugh­ter, Gina Heller of Delaware; grand­daugh­ters, Jen­nifer (Josh) Schultz, Amy (Adam) Burke and Macken­zie Heller; grand­son, Bryce Heller; aunt, Kath­leen Win­ter of Ormond Beach, Fla.; and cousin, Ruth Ellen Brown of Columbus.

She was pre­ceded in death by her hus­band, E. Gene Scarbrough.

The fam­ily will receive friends from 2 to 5 p.m. Sun­day, Dec. 11, at the Rod­man Neeper Funeral Home, 1510 W. William St., Delaware. Funeral ser­vices will be held at 10 a.m. Mon­day, Dec. 12, at the Lib­erty Pres­by­ter­ian Church, 7080 Olen­tangy River Road, Delaware, with the Rev. Becky Hart offi­ci­at­ing. A lun­cheon will fol­low the church ser­vices. Fam­ily grave­side ser­vices will be held at the Hale Ceme­tery in Mount Vic­tory, Ohio.
