County salt supply barely tapped yet

(Gazette | Dustin Ensinger)

Unseasonably warm weather this winter has kept snow and ice off the roads and the Delaware County Highway Department sidelined for the most part. So far this year, Delaware County’s road crews have used just 10 tons of salt to keep icy roadways safe for travel, down significantly from previous winters.

Last Year’s resolutions are today’s promises

The last week of the year is a fine time to work on your New Year’s resolutions. Not the ones that you are going to make but the ones that you made 12 months ago. The most popular resolution deals with weight loss. Fad diets to medically-necessary meal plans top the wanna-do list.

‘Time to make a fresh start’ New Year’s suggestions

It’s that time of year again — time to consider what new habits you will resolve to practice in the New Year. It’s time to make a fresh start. I like to call my resolutions New Year Suggestions. Maybe it makes me feel less guilty when I don’t accomplish them like I thought I would. On the other hand, maybe it helps me incorporate the new ideas into my life because I really don’t like being told what to do, even if it is by my own self!
