Arthur D. Case
World War II Navy Veteran Arthur D. Case, 94, passed away early Monday (Jan. 16, 2012) at the Primrose Assisted Living Center in Marion.
Arthur was born July 5, 1917 in Columbus to Owen and Verna (Steitz) Case. He is a graduate of Powell High School. He was a member of the William Street United Methodist Church, the American Legion Raymond B. Austin Post in Delaware and a lifelong member of the Delaware County Farm Bureau. Arthur also had a great interest in his family’s genealogy.
He is survived by his two sons, Robert (Beth) Case of Marion and James (Dianne) Case of Delaware; and three grandchildren, Jason (Erin) Case of Delaware, Owen (Kelsey) Case of Marion and Evan Case of Delaware.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda; a brother, Owen; and six sisters, Dorothy, Francis, Mabel, Velma, Helen and Leola.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 21, with visitation one hour prior at the Rodman Neeper Funeral Home in Delaware (1510 W. William St., Delaware).
