Carl E. Johnson

Carl E. John­son, 90, of Wor­thing­ton Chris­t­ian Vil­lage, for­merly of Galena, passed away Wednes­day (Feb. 8, 2012).

He retired from AT &T. He was a mem­ber of Spring Road Church of Christ and the NRA. He was a grad­u­ate of Ohio Uni­ver­sity. He was an Air Force vet­eran of World War II.

He is sur­vived by his wife of 66 years, Ruth; daugh­ters, Car­olyn (Gary) Carmichael of Galena and Cindy (Dave) Collins of Atlanta, Ga.; grand­chil­dren, Steve (Jackie) and Scott (Deb­bie) Carmichael, Brian (Emily) Collins and Lisa (Caleb) Dyer; and five great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. Sun­day at the More­land Funeral Home, 55 E. Schrock Road, West­er­ville, where ser­vice will be held at 11 a.m. Mon­day with Robin Weier offi­ci­at­ing. Inter­ment will be in Fancher Cemetery.

In lieu of flow­ers, con­tri­bu­tions may be made to Wor­thing­ton Chris­t­ian Vil­lage Wheel­chair Van Fund or Home­Reach Hospice.
