Dona A. Boyer
Dona A. Boyer, 85, of Columbus and formerly of Powell passed away Sunday morning (Feb. 26, 2012) at Mt. Carmel West Hospital, Columbus.
She was born Nov. 24, 1926 in Sunbury to Theodore and Cora (Ramey) Pano. She was a swimming and life saving instructor for the Columbus YMCA and she enjoyed her family and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by a daughter, Brandi (Nick) Pandis of Greece; son, Mark Boyer of Liberty Lake, Wash.; seven grandchildren, Emily Pandis, Jennifer Bunner, Bryan, Tasia, Seth, Iljana and Dawson Boyer; sisters, Wanda Basham of Ponte Vedra, Fla., and Walga Basham of Columbus; sister-in-law, Shirley (George) Hess of Mount Vernon; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul William Boyer; son, Victor; and a brother, John Pano.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. Feb. 29, at the Rodman Neeper Funeral Home, 1510 W. William St., Delaware, and where funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 1. Burial will follow in Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
