Lloyd L. Foust

Lloyd L. Foust, 63, of Cedar Falls, Iowa, died Jan. 2, 2012, at Cedar Val­ley Hos­pice Home, Waterloo.

He was born Dec. 19, 1948, in Mor­row County, the son of Lloyd A. and Frances F. Young Foust. He mar­ried Karla Petersen on Dec. 29, 1987, at Fredsville Lutheran Church, Cedar Falls. Mr. Foust served in the U.S. Marine Corps in Viet­nam and was employed with Zephyr Trans­port for 20 years, then with the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home. He was a mem­ber of the Iowa Fos­ter and Adop­tive Par­ents Association.

He is sur­vived by his wife; a daugh­ter, Karissa Foust of Cedar Falls, Iowa; three sons, Eric Foust of West Vir­ginia and Cameron and Colton Foust, both at home; a grand­child, Kaj Riggle-Foust of Cedar Falls, Iowa; four sis­ters, Rose Mar­tin of West­field, JoAnn (Paul) Rowlen of Card­ing­ton, Shirley (Gary) Hei­del­berg of Clin­ton, S.C., and Glo­ria (John) Lyons of Cam­bridge; a brother-in-law, Roger Knauber of Delaware; and many nieces and nephews.

He was pre­ceded in death by his par­ents; and three sis­ters, Mary Knauber, Sharon Adkins and Rita Foust.

A memo­r­ial fund will be des­ig­nated at a later date.
