The 18th Blast from the Past Car Show, sponsored by the Vintage Auto Club of Delaware, will be held from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Saturday, July 23. Admission is free.
More than 700 vintage vehicles will be in downtown Delaware for one of the state’s largest car shows.
The show will take place on Sandusky Street, between Harrison Street and Central Avenue. Sandusky will be closed to traffic at 6 a.m. Other street closings will be West Winter Street to the alley next to Bun’s Restaurant, East Winter Street to the City Parking lot exit, and Spring Street, to the NAPA store. William Street will not be closed.
Proceeds from the cruise-in benefit Home Reach Hospice at Grady Memorial Hospital. The show has generated more than $165,000 for Hospice at Grady through the years.
The annual Delaware Main Street Farmers’ Market will be held at its regular time, but in a different location in front of City Hall.
