Brian D. Knittle
Brian D. Knittle, 38, of Delaware, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday (March 27, 2012) as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was born June 4, 1973, in Harvey, Ill., to Frank and Virginia Carrigan Knittle. A resident of Delaware since 2005, he was a construction manager at the Ohio State University Medical Center. Brian enjoyed playing golf and softball in the Westerville Softball League. It’s been said by family members that he knew his way around the kitchen and could be counted on as “the family handyman.”
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer; parents, Frank and Gini of South Holland, Ill.; brother, Scott of Illinois; sisters, Cindi Cloutier of Dyer, Ind., and Vicki (Matt) Camp of Schererville, Ind.; and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are welcome to attend an open house to celebrate Brian’s life from noon until 2 p.m. Saturday, March 31, at the Delaware Golf Club, 3329 U.S. 23, Delaware.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages that donations be made to The Delaware Humane Society, 4920 State Route 37 E., Delaware, OH 43015 or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
