Bruce Albert Boda

Bruce Albert Boda, 50, of Delaware, passed away sud­denly Thurs­day (March 22, 2012) at Grady Memo­r­ial Hospital.

He was born Feb. 22, 1962, in Youngstown, to the late Robert M. Boda and Mar­garet L. (Moskosky) Boda. He was employed by The Ohio State Uni­ver­sity as a senior sys­tems ana­lyst. Bruce enjoyed play­ing pool, fish­ing, cars and grilling out. He was active with the Boy Scouts while his son earned Eagle Scout. Described as help­ful and an awe­some uncle, Bruce was a true fam­ily man whose top pri­or­ity was spend­ing time with his chil­dren, nieces and nephews.

He is sur­vived by his wife, Helen (John­son) Boda of Delaware; a son, Nathaniel W. Boda; a daugh­ter, Mary-Margaret J. Boda, all of Delaware; his mother, Mar­garet Boda, for­merly of Youngstown, who made her home with Bruce; broth­ers, Robert (Sheryl) Boda of Austin­town, Ohio, Michael (Carol) Boda of Can­field, Ohio, and Rus­sell (Mary Teresa) Boda of Sun­bury; as well as numer­ous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

The fam­ily will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Sun­day at DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, 75 W. William St., Delaware. Grave­side ser­vices will be held at 1 p.m. Mon­day at For­est Lawn Ceme­tery in Youngstown.
