Bruce Albert Boda
Bruce Albert Boda, 50, of Delaware, passed away suddenly Thursday (March 22, 2012) at Grady Memorial Hospital.
He was born Feb. 22, 1962, in Youngstown, to the late Robert M. Boda and Margaret L. (Moskosky) Boda. He was employed by The Ohio State University as a senior systems analyst. Bruce enjoyed playing pool, fishing, cars and grilling out. He was active with the Boy Scouts while his son earned Eagle Scout. Described as helpful and an awesome uncle, Bruce was a true family man whose top priority was spending time with his children, nieces and nephews.
He is survived by his wife, Helen (Johnson) Boda of Delaware; a son, Nathaniel W. Boda; a daughter, Mary-Margaret J. Boda, all of Delaware; his mother, Margaret Boda, formerly of Youngstown, who made her home with Bruce; brothers, Robert (Sheryl) Boda of Austintown, Ohio, Michael (Carol) Boda of Canfield, Ohio, and Russell (Mary Teresa) Boda of Sunbury; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, 75 W. William St., Delaware. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Youngstown.
