Dale E. Law

Dale E. Law, 62, of Delaware, died Thurs­day (March 29, 2012) in River­side Hospital.

He was born April 19, 1949, in Delaware to Hugh and Albina (Dun­lap) Law. A life­time res­i­dent of Delaware County, he grad­u­ated from Hayes High School in 1967, attended O.S.U. and grad­u­ated from the Cincin­nati Col­lege of Mor­tu­ary Sci­ence in 1971. Dale was an employee and had 26 years of per­fect atten­dance at Honda of Amer­ica Auto Plant in Marysville. He was also employed as a funeral direc­tor at Robin­son Funeral Home since 1985. He was a mem­ber of Hiram Masonic Lodge and a for­mer mem­ber of Kiwa­nis Club and the Elks Lodge. Dale spent many years as a mem­ber of Grace United Methodist Church where he was mar­ried and later attended Grace Brethren Church.

Dale is sur­vived by his wife, Linda; two daugh­ters, Lisa (Richard) Hig­gin­botham of Wor­thing­ton and Valarie Law of Delaware; his mother, Albina of Delaware; brother, Gary (Cathy) of Florida; father-in-law, Claude Thomas of Delaware; brother-in-law, Robert (Angela) Thomas of Delaware; and a niece, Stephanie (Patrick) Joseph of Dublin.

The fam­ily wishes to thank the Rev. Don­nie Akers for his prayers and vis­its. Vis­i­ta­tion will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Sun­day at the Robin­son Funeral Home. The funeral ser­vice will be at 11 a.m. Mon­day in Grace United Methodist Church, 385 E. William St., Delaware, with the Rev. Carl Schae­fer offi­ci­at­ing. Bur­ial will fol­low in Marl­bor­ough Cemetery.
