Ginger Lee Roberts

Gin­ger Lee Roberts, 43, of Delaware, passed away Thurs­day (March 1, 2012) at The Ohio State Med­ical Center.

She was born Aug. 28, 1968, in Mar­ion, to Frank and Sandy (Bufore) Ray­burn. Gin­ger was a grad­u­ate of Bar­da­zon Mod­el­ing School where after­wards she mod­eled for swim­suit and body build­ing mag­a­zines and she even appeared in a TV com­mer­cial. She enjoyed show­ing horses, doing bal­let, karate and was an avid Michi­gan fan. Gin­ger was employed by Honda of Marysville.

She is sur­vived by her son, Bran­don Roberts of New Albany; her father, Frank (Sue) Ray­burn of West­field; her mother, Sandy (Jon) Thomp­son of Buck­eye Lake; two broth­ers, John Ray­burn of West­field and Joe Ray­burn of Fort Worth, Texas; a sis­ter, Amanda Ray­burn of West­field; and numer­ous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was pre­ceded in death by a grand­mother, Vivian Marie Thomp­son; a great-grandmother, Eleanor Louise Lones; a great-aunt, Ellen Pre­ston; and grand­par­ents, Steve and Eva Rayburn.

The fam­ily will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. Tues­day, March 6, at the Rod­man Neeper Funeral Home, 1510 W. William St., Delaware, with a funeral ser­vice to fol­low at 2 p.m. Intern­ment will take place after the funeral ser­vice in the West­field Ceme­tery. Dona­tions can be made to the orga­ni­za­tion of the donor’s choice.
