Dr. Bill J. ‘Doc’ Harding

Dr. Bill J. Hard­ing, “Doc” as he was known by most, passed away peace­fully at home with fam­ily present. He began his jour­ney to Heaven on March 28, 2012, at the age of 87.

Bill was born in Eolia, Mo., on Dec. 31, 1924. He was the fourth of five chil­dren. He was pre­ceded in death by his par­ents, William and Thelma Hard­ing; two sib­lings, Andrew Hard­ing and Flo­rence (Hard­ing) Roberts; his first wife, Betty (Buskirk) Hard­ing; one grand­child, Kristin Hard­ing; and two great-grandchildren, Ariel and Valerie Flick.

He is sur­vived by his wife, Susie Ferko; his six chil­dren, Bar­bara (Ajit) Sri­vas­tava, Dr. Patri­cia Hard­ing, Bill (Carol) Hard­ing, Bob (Susie) Hard­ing, Brenda (Bish) Adams and Larry Hard­ing; two stepchil­dren, Chad (Rhonda) Hughes and Shelly (Mike) Miller; 12 grand­chil­dren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Errett (Roberta) Hard­ing, and one sis­ter, Louise Dameron, both of Els­berry, Mo.

There will be a memo­r­ial ser­vice at 1 p.m. Sat­ur­day April 14, at the Delaware Bible Church, 45 Belle Ave., Delaware. Fond mem­o­ries you may wish to share will be wel­come by the family.
