Delaware Hayes had a miserable time Friday in Hilliard, as host Bradley scored 14 or more points in each of the four quarters on the way to a 61-7 OCC-Capital Division win.

The Pacers (3-5, 2-3 OCC), who picked up their only points when quarterback Alex Rafeld found C.J. Wade in the end zone from 10 yards out in the third quarter, moved the ball fairly well, collecting 15 first downs on 299 yards of total offense.

The defense, though, hand its hands full all night long.

The Jaguars (6-2, 3-2 OCC) were powered by a career day from Blake Scipio, who rushed for 283 yards in just 16 attempts. He also found the end zone four times, including from four yards out early in the first quarter to give his team a 7-0 lead.

Terell Stanford, who had 115 yards rushing in just four carries, scored shortly after, breaking off a 59-yard TD run to make it 14-0 in the first.

Bradley then scored three times in the second, making it a 33-0 advantage at the break. Cody Klein started the stretch with a 26-yard TD reception from quarterback Conor Driscoll, Scipio added a 22-yard TD run a bit later and Walid Abdel-Jabbar capped the quarter’s scoring with a one-yard run. The point-after attempt failed following two of the three scores, but it didn’t matter considering the way the hosts were playing.

The Jaguars sealed the deal with four second-half scores — runs of two and 28 yards from Scipio, a four-yard TD run from Chad Reep and a C.J. Martin one-yard run. Bradley, which amassed 572 yards of total offense, had 546 of those yards come on the ground. The Jaguars, who rushed 41 times, averaged better than 13 yards per attempt.

Hayes was led by Rafeld, who completed 10 of his 20 passes for 149 yards and a touchdown. Wade carried the ball 14 times for 98 yards while Kyle Ferguson made four grabs for 45 yards in the setback.
