Glenda Elaine ‘Lynn’ Fitzpatrick
Glenda Elaine “Lynn” Fitzpatrick, 63, of Radnor, passed away unexpectedly Saturday morning (March 31, 2012) at her residence.
She was born April 23, 1948 in Selma, Ala. She graduated from the University of West Virginia, where she received her degree in nursing. She was a very active member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Delaware, and was owner and operator of Lynn’s Kids Child Care in Radnor. She loved her dogs and enjoyed gardening, shopping, spending time with her family and boating with her husband.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Terry; three daughters, Maureen (Paul) Progar of Whiting, Ind., Deanne (Palmo) Aracri of Columbus and Melissa Fitzpatrick of Delaware; a son, Brian Fitzpatrick of Tinley Park, Ill.; eight grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, April 3, at the Rodman Neeper Funeral Home, 1510 W. William St. at Valleyside Drive, Delaware, where a vigil of prayer service will be held at 5 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 4, at St. Mary Catholic Church, 82 E. William St., Delaware, with the Rev. Fr. James Black officiating. The St. Mary Bereavement Committee and the family will then host a reception in the Rodman Neeper Community Room immediately following the mass.
