Joan L. Douglass Hamm

Joan L. Dou­glass Hamm, 74, of Delaware, passed away Wednes­day morn­ing (April 4, 2012) at River­side Methodist Hos­pi­tal, Columbus.

She was born Sept. 26, 1937 in Spring­field to John and Viola (Con­nor) Kubilus. She was a for­mer res­i­dent of Lon­don, Ohio, for 20 years, and while liv­ing there, worked for the Madi­son Press and Otis Ele­va­tor. After mov­ing to Delaware, she worked and later retired from Lib­erty Cast­ings and she also enjoyed read­ing, cro­chet­ing, knit­ting and spend­ing time with her fam­ily and her cats.

She is sur­vived by her hus­band, James; two daugh­ters, Leilani Napier of Pow­ell and Traci Dou­glass of Waldo; two sons, William (Lisa) Dou­glass of Naples, Fla., and Jef­fery Dou­glass of Lon­don, Ohio; step­daugh­ter, Brandy Hamm of Can­ton; two step­sons, Todd (San­dra) Hamm of Cale­do­nia and Travis (Tracy) Hamm of Plain City; and eight grand­chil­dren, seven step-grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

A Cel­e­bra­tion of Life Ser­vices will be held at 3 p.m. Sat­ur­day, April 7, at the Rod­man Neeper Funeral Home, 1510 W. William St. at Val­ley­side Drive, Delaware. The fam­ily will receive friends one hour prior to the services.
