Santorum drops out, clearing the way for Romney
L. Jane Silveous, 85, of Delaware, beloved mother, grandmother and friend to many, died Sunday (April 8, 2012) at her home.
She was born Dec. 11, 1926, in Columbus to Carl and Hattie (Stewart) Anderson. She was the retired owner and operator of Jane’s Beauty Nook. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Delaware Women’s Club and several card clubs.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathy (Dale) Grossman of Westerville; three grandchildren, Jason Grossman of Westerville, Bran (Lisa) Silveous of Centerburg and Brooke (John) Holcomb of Delaware; five great-grandchildren, Dominic, Abbey and Sydney Silveous and Josie and Bailey Holcomb; daughter-in-law, Kelly Silveous-James (Gary) of Delaware; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son, Dan Silveous; a sister; three half sisters; and a half brother.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the First Presbyterian Church followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Deborah Patterson officiating. A luncheon will follow. Burial will be at a later date in Blendon Cemetery in Westerville.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, Homereach Hospice or a charity of one’s choice. Robinson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
