Junior Jerry Moore (Mogadore) and freshman Jon Neroni (Kettering/Alter) led Ohio Wesleyan to the team title at the Ted Barclay Spring Invitational, hosted by Denison University on Saturday and Sunday at the Granville Golf Course in Granville.
Ohio Wesleyan won the tournament with a 36-hole total of 612, defeating Denison by 3 shots. Baldwin-Wallace finished third with a 618, followed by Point Park and Columbus State (621), Muskingum (629), Wooster (634), Olivet (646), Kenyon (690) and Oberlin (774).
Moore and Neroni tied for fifth place among individuals at 151, 5 shots behind medalist Stephen Spalding of Baldwin-Wallace.
Sophomore Tyler Carney-DeBord (Delaware/Hayes) and senior Nate Fridley (Sidney/Lehman Catholic) tied for ninth place at 155, and senior Caleb Chiero (Westerville/Central) tied 27th place at 161.
