Ralph E. Canter

Ralph E. Can­ter, 86, of Delaware passed away Thurs­day (April 12, 2012).

He was born Jan. 19, 1926, in Lucasville to the late Boyd and Matilda Can­ter. Ralph was a proud World War II vet­eran of the U.S. Navy. He was for­merly employed with Jan­i­trol, Andro Cor­po­ra­tion and Liebert, retir­ing in 1991. Ralph was a real fam­ily man and could fix any­thing. He will be remem­bered by his love for fam­ily and his smile.

Ralph will be missed by his lov­ing daugh­ter, Bev­er­lee (Terry) Marsh; grand­sons, Kevin Can­ter, Scott (Tracy) Cas­barro, Shaun (Shel­ley) Cas­barro and Todd Marsh; and seven great-grandchildren.

In addi­tion to his par­ents, Ralph was pre­ceded in death by his wife, Alice; son, Boyd Edwin Can­ter; grand­daugh­ter, Chris­tine Wright; and great-granddaughter, Sta­cie Beth Wiegand.

Grave­side ser­vices will be held at 1 p.m. Sat­ur­day, April 21, at King­wood Memo­r­ial Park, 8230 U.S. 23, Lewis Cen­ter, fol­lowed by a gath­er­ing of friends from 2 to 4 p.m. at Schoedinger Wor­thing­ton Chapel, 6699 N. High St., Wor­thing­ton (Just south of Inter­state 270).
