Richard L. Stout

Richard L. Stout, 83, of Lady Lake, Fla., passed away sur­rounded by fam­ily on Easter Sun­day (April 8, 2012).

He was born Dec. 16, 1928, to Paul and Lucille Stout of Delaware. Richard was a 34-year employee of Lock­heed Mar­tin as a mis­sile mechanic at Cape Canaveral and Kennedy Space Cen­ter. He coached Lit­tle League for 14 years in Orlando and Union Park, Fla., and was the neigh­bor­hood “Dad” in Bon­neville, Fla. He was an avid golfer and big game hunter. Richard was a mem­ber of St. Pauls Catholic Church in Lees­burg, Fla. Richard was mar­ried for 57 years and one month to JoAnne Dolfin­ger of Delaware, who pre­ceded him in death in 2008.

He is sur­vived by daugh­ters, Karen Sue (Stout) Har­ring­ton of Orlando, Fla., and Eliz­a­beth Ann (Stout) Baron of Howey in the Hills, Fla.; three sons, David A. Stout of Lady Lake, Fla., Eric C. Stout of Cel­e­bra­tion, Fla., and Robert P. Stout of Orlando, Fla.; 10 grand­chil­dren; 13 great-grandchildren; brother, Larry (Hazel) Stout of Sum­mer­field, Fla.; and sis­ters, Rose­mary (Stout) Mar­tis and Dorothy (Stout) Acker of Delaware.

He was pre­ceded in death by his par­ents; broth­ers, Paul Stout and Don­ald Stout; and sis­ters, Ann (Stout) Jones and Patty (Stout) Coffman.

A grave­side ser­vice will be held at 11 a.m. Sat­ur­day, April 14, at Lady Lake Ceme­tery, Lady Lake, Fla.
