Supreme court moves to center of presidential race
Violet Eloise Harper, 72, of Delaware, and formerly of Columbus, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday (March 16, 2011).
Violet was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening and quilting, but her greatest love was her family. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and precious to us and will be greatly missed. She loved the Lord Jesus Christ with all her heart and there was no other place she would rather be than at church.
Violet is survived by her children, Theresa (Bryan) Anderson, Stacey (Joe) Schilling and James Randall (Dorina) Harper; five granddaughters, Emily, Rachel, Juliana, Sarah and Mariah; sisters, Glenna Whited and Shirley Fields; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, James Curtis Harper; parents, Glenville and Beulah Harper; and sister, Helen Taylor.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Myers-Woodyard Funeral Home, 587 Main St., Groveport. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Grove City Church of the Nazarene, 4770 Hoover Road, Grove City, with the Rev. Don Bowman officiating. Interment will be in Franklin Hills Memory Gardens.
