Anna Marie Link Daugherty of Richwood passed away peacefully on Thursday (May 24, 2012).

She was born on Feb. 28, 1911, in Kingston Township in Delaware County. Her parents were the late Frank and Elsie (Barton) Link. Ann enjoyed her family and friends, loved gardening, quilting, crocheting and making greeting cards. She was a more than 50-year member of the Lewis Center United Methodist Church, a member of Delaware County Pioneer Society and a former member of Sunbury Village Garden Club and Columbia Chapter 33 O.E.S.

Ann is survived by son, Philip (Patricia) Daugherty of St. Paul, Minn.; a daughter, Susan (John) Oberdier with whom she made her home in Richwood; her beloved grandchildren, Meagan Daugherty, Eva (Michael) Loche, Nathan (Jodi) Oberdier and Andrew (Sarah) Oberdier; five great-grandchildren, Christopher and MJ Locke, Katherine, Ezekiel and Daisy Oberdier; dear brother, James (Betty) Link of Kilbourne; and many wonderful nieces and nephews.

Ann was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Harry Daugherty; brothers, Raymond, Kenneth, Vinal and William Link; and sisters, Pearl Baker, Zella Terry, Lucile Welch and Charlotte Pittman.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 29, at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, Ohio 3 at 61, Sunbury, where services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 30. Burial will follow in Green Mound Cemetery.
