Debra A. Mullen
Debra A. Mullen, 60, of Delaware passed away Tuesday (May 22, 2012) at Delaware Court.
She was born Feb. 23, 1952, in Columbus to the late John and Irma (Kramer) Knouff and graduated in 1970 from the Ohio School for the Deaf. A member of the Ohio School for the Deaf Athletic Booster Club and the Warren Deaf Club, she enjoyed camping, growing flowers and crafts of all types. As one who loved angels, she was considered an angel herself by beloved family. Debra was quite the teaser and jokester, especially with her brother. She treasured time with her family and fellow deaf friends.
She is survived by fiancé, William Hartley, her companion of 13 years; daughters, Carla and Susan Mullen; brother, Jeffrey (Joan) Knouff; sisters, Ellen (Garry) Detty, Belinda Hutton and Sandra (Samuel) Deible; and nieces, nephews and best friend, Wilma Prusinski.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, June 3, at The Ohio School for the Deaf Gymnasium, 500 Morse Road, Columbus. Arrangements have been entrusted to DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, Delaware.
