Margaret Baker Flint

Mar­garet Baker Flint passed away on Tues­day (May 29, 2012) at Friend­ship Vil­lage, Dublin.

She was born near Delaware on March 2, 1912, to Ray­mond and Lela Baker. She held degrees from Smith Col­lege and the Uni­ver­sity of Wis­con­sin and served on the fac­ulty of Wil­son Col­lege in Penn­syl­va­nia and City Col­lege of New York. Much of her life was lived in for­eign coun­tries where her hus­band served as a For­eign Ser­vice Offi­cer with the Depart­ment of State.

She is sur­vived by her niece, Susan (Steve) Mor­rall; nephews, Robert (Betsy) Flint, Richard (Judy) Flint and Roger Baker; cousins, Kay (Chuck) Emrick and Dorothy Baker; and many great-nieces and nephews.

She was pre­ceded in death by her brother, Roger, and her hus­band, James Clapp Flint.

Pri­vate grave­side ser­vices will be held at Oak Grove Ceme­tery in Delaware. Snyder-Rodman Funeral Cen­ter is assist­ing the fam­ily with arrangements.
