Margaret Baker Flint
Margaret Baker Flint passed away on Tuesday (May 29, 2012) at Friendship Village, Dublin.
She was born near Delaware on March 2, 1912, to Raymond and Lela Baker. She held degrees from Smith College and the University of Wisconsin and served on the faculty of Wilson College in Pennsylvania and City College of New York. Much of her life was lived in foreign countries where her husband served as a Foreign Service Officer with the Department of State.
She is survived by her niece, Susan (Steve) Morrall; nephews, Robert (Betsy) Flint, Richard (Judy) Flint and Roger Baker; cousins, Kay (Chuck) Emrick and Dorothy Baker; and many great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Roger, and her husband, James Clapp Flint.
Private graveside services will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery in Delaware. Snyder-Rodman Funeral Center is assisting the family with arrangements.
