Marilyn M. Wallace passed away Tuesday (Nov. 1, 2011) surrounded by her loving family.

She was born June 25, 1929 in Marion to Thomas Long and Evelyn Green Long. In 1947, she married Pearl “Joe” Wallace. They had four wonderful daughters, who survive, Denise Garrison of Bellefontaine, Deborah (Ronald) Owens of Puyallup, Wash., and Dorothy Goodman and Donna (Ronald) Taylor, both of Delaware. She loved and treasured her grandchildren Janet (Shane) Racer, Karen (Todd) Lamb, Patrick (Stephanie) Owens, Jennifer (Kyle) Wolever, Shane Corbett, Amanda Shufflebarger, Joseph Middleton, Richard Clark and Ashley Bryson. She smiled with delight when referred to by her 15 great-grandchildren as “Mimi.” A lifelong resident of Delaware, she was blessed with a second love of her life, Bob Weise, for 20 years, and will be remembered fondly by many good friends and family.

Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Rodman Neeper Funeral Home, 1510 W. William St., Delaware. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Fairview Memorial Park.
