Ripe for the picking

Mary Alice Dill­man buys a kohlrabi from Andrew Crow of Two Crows Farms dur­ing the open­ing day of the down­town Delaware Farm­ers’ Mar­ket. The mar­kets will run from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Sat­ur­days and from 3 to 6 p.m. on Wednes­days. The Farm­ers’ Mar­ket at the fair­grounds is also under way for the sea­son and is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sat­ur­days under the grand­stand at the Lib­erty Street gate. (Gazette | Liz Robertson)
