Ruth E. Stults

Ruth E. Stults, 80, a life­long res­i­dent of Delaware, passed away Fri­day (May 4, 2012) at her residence.

She was born on Sept. 11, 1931, in Delaware to the late Clarence and Lucille (Bur­ton) Wal­lace. Ruth worked many years as a book­keeper for Deer­lick Dairy and Uhlman’s Depart­ment Store. She loved feed­ing her wild birds daily. She was a mem­ber of the Grady Hos­pi­tal Aux­il­iary and an avid bowler.

Ruth is sur­vived by her only child, Lisa (Richard) Isaly of Mar­ion; two grand­chil­dren, Jonathan Mey­ers and Joshua Schmidt; and great-grandchild, Nevaeh Meyers.

She was pre­ceded in death by her hus­band, Wilbur Vir­gil Stults, and a sis­ter, Sarah Butts.

A grave­side ser­vice will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednes­day, May 16, at Oak Grove Cemetery.
