Theresa Jackson

Theresa Jack­son, 52, of Delaware, passed away Mon­day (May 14, 2012) at her res­i­dence sur­rounded by her lov­ing fam­ily after a coura­geous bat­tle with cancer.

She was born July 8, 1959, in East Liv­er­pool to the late Earl and Bar­bara Cope. Theresa grad­u­ated from East Liv­er­pool High School and mar­ried Randy Jack­son. The two had been Delaware res­i­dents for 33 years. A home­maker, Theresa enjoyed car­ing for the elderly neigh­bors in her com­mu­nity, gar­den­ing and spend­ing time with her family.

She is sur­vived by her hus­band of 33 years, Randy J. Jack­son; son, Randy Jack­son, Jr., and daugh­ter, Misty Cope, both of Delaware; sis­ters, Sue (Bruce) Cheuvront of West Vir­ginia and Tammy Sie­gam of East Liv­er­pool; brother, Jeff Cope of East Liv­er­pool; and nieces, nephews and friends.

The fam­ily will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Thurs­day at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, 75 W. Williams St., Delaware, where a funeral ser­vice will be con­ducted at 11 a.m. Fri­day by cel­e­brant Don Lock­wood. Inter­ment will fol­low at Oak Grove Cemetery.
