Pat Coffee
Pat Coffee, 68, of the Holly Creek Community and formerly of Delaware passed away Tuesday (June 19, 2012) in Texarkana, Texas.
She was born Nov. 6, 1943, in Sunbury, the daughter of Desmond and Martha Agler Edwards. Pat had lived in McCurtain County for the past nine years, moving here from Ohio. She was a 4-H advisor for the Cowboy Convoy in Delaware for 35 years; a member of the Ohio Quarter Pony, National Quarter Pony and American Quarter Pony for 25 years; she was an Outrider for the Little Brown Jug Races for more than 20 years, a member of Central Ohio Team Pinning and owner and operator of Coffee’s Arena. Pat also enjoyed sewing and raising cattle.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Larry Coffee of the home; son, Troy Ransom of Ohio; daughter, Dawn Coffee of Holly Creek; brothers, Butch Roland Edwards and John Edwards both of Sunbury, Ted Edwards of Westerville, Ned Edwards of Florida and Kenny Edwards of Delaware; sister, Jen Edwards of Galena; a grandson, Lane Sivitz; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
