Ruth Ellen ‘Ma’ Wade
Ruth Ellen “Ma” Wade, 74, of Radnor passed away unexpectedly at her residence on Monday (June 18, 2012).
She was born on April 4, 1938 in Kalamazoo, Mich., to the late Fred and Gladys (Heath) Wolfe. Ruth spent most of her life in the Delaware County area where she worked many years as a Buckeye Valley School bus driver. She loved spending time with her family and making lap quilts to donate to the Salvation Army.
Ruth is survived by her husband, Bill “Boppy” Wade; two sons, Mike (Melissa) Wade of Delaware and Duane Wade of Radnor; a daughter, Dyanna (Scott) Dauphin of Radnor; eight grandchildren, Shawn, Cody, Shannon Dauphin, Shelby, Morgan, Haley, Kelsi and Tyler Wade; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Mae Wolfe, Jean Hawkins and Freda Anderson; and a brother, Sonny Wolfe.
A private graveside service will take place in Oak Grove Cemetery.
