Sam Brokaw
Sam Brokaw, 79, of Canal Winchester died Monday (June 4, 2012) at Emeritus at Lakeview Assisted Living in Groveport.
Born to the late Paul and Mary Brokaw of Delaware, Sam was an avid golfer and fisherman.
Sam is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Beverly; daughters, Jackie (Ivan) Garrabrant and Babs Clark; stepson, Chuck (Dona) Gregg; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sister, Ula Swint; many nieces and nephews and wonderful friends; and his beloved cocker spaniel, Spanky.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Paul, Bill and Johnny; and his sisters, Willa, Mary, Roxy and Molly.
Friends may visit from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday at the Dwayne R. Spence Funeral Home and Crematory, 650 West Waterloo St., Canal Winchester, where a memorial service will be held at 4 p.m.
