Donald F. Johns
Donald F. Johns, 76, of Delaware passed away Saturday morning (July 7, 2012) at Grady Memorial Hospital.
He was born on June 18, 1936, in Delaware to the late Bernard and Julia (Abrams) Johns. A graduate of Willis High School in 1954, he also served in the U.S. Army Reserves. An outdoorsman at heart, he enjoyed camping, boating and fishing for walleye on the waters of Lake Erie. He favored tractors of all types, especially Internationals. Considered a problem solver, he had a special knack for figuring out how to fix things, specifically those mechanical in nature. He will be remembered for his helping hands and time spent with his treasured grandchildren.
