Carla M. Talbott

Carla M. Tal­bott, 48, of Sun­bury, died Sat­ur­day (Aug. 25, 2012) at her residence.

She was born on March 31, 1964, in Tif­fin to the late Rod­er­ick and Gladys (Fronek) Cronk and grew up in Wadsworth. She was a grad­u­ate of Kent State with a bachelor’s degree in com­mu­ni­ca­tion. She was co-owner and oper­a­tor of CBT Enter­prises serv­ing real estate com­pa­nies with clos­ing services.

Carla was a one of a kind per­son, very lov­ing wife and was a great care­taker for par­ents dur­ing their ill­nesses. She enjoyed liv­ing in the coun­try, gar­den­ing, arts and crafts, trav­el­ing to the Florida beaches, camp­ing and hik­ing in the North Woods. Carla enjoyed jazzer­cise and her friends from her class. Carla had a won­der­ful sense of humor and loved ani­mals espe­cially her dog: Wrigley.

She is sur­vived by her hus­band, Robert “Bob” Tal­bott and they were mar­ried May 1, 1999, in the Cay­man Islands; brother, Dhuey (Chris) Cronk of Gahanna; nieces and nephews, Ryan, Brit­tany and Nick Cronk; mother-in-law, Betty Tal­bott of Joliet, Ill.; brother-in-law, Jim (Pat) Tal­bott of Inter­lochen, Mich.; and nieces and nephews, Matt and Leslie Talbott.

Memo­r­ial ser­vices will be held at 1 p.m. Sat­ur­day at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, Ohio 3 at 61, Sun­bury, with Dea­con Carl Calcara.

Memo­r­ial con­tri­bu­tions can be made to the Delaware County Humane Soci­ety, 4920 SR 37 E., Delaware, OH 43015.
